Learning accounting is similar to learning a foreign language, which can only be mastered by doing. Written assignments are an integral part of the learning process in all accounting courses. To receive maximum benefit from this course, reading and writing assignments should be completed or attempted prior to the class lecture. If you have not done them, lectures will not be as meaningful. These exercises indicate the basic knowledge you are expected to have in this course.  The solutions are provided for your benefit to aid you in the process of checking your answers.  They should *not* be used as a crutch and by no means should be submitted for credit.  This is viewed as plagiarism and the instructor follows the College’s policy for this action.
